Privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information belmorhaven.com handles and why. Belmorhaven, the operator of belmorhaven.com, is responsible for it. Boiled down to one poster line: we collect very little, keep it briefly and sell none of it.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us, plus the small amount of technical information any website produces.

What the show office never takes

There are no accounts on Belmorhaven, so we hold no profiles. The show office never asks for payment data or ID documents and doesn't keep them, and we'd ask you not to send passwords either. If you send any of these through the form by mistake, we delete them.

The contact form

There are three boxes on the form, for a name, an email address and the message itself. Their one use is letting the show office write back to you.

FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) handles the form: it takes in what you type and emails it on to the show office mailbox. Each message is held for 12 months at most, then deleted. No message is ever sold or used for advertising.

Want your message gone sooner? Write to [email protected] from the address you first used and ask us to delete it. We'll remove it and confirm.

Where your message travels

A form message passes through FormSubmit and then sits in our mailbox. Either service may store data on servers outside New Zealand. We don't pass messages on to anyone else, and we don't copy them into other systems or lists.

If you'd rather your words didn't pass through FormSubmit at all, write to us directly by email instead. The address is the same one shown on the contact page.

Locked in the show office

The site is a set of plain static pages. There are no accounts and no database of visitors, so there's very little here that could leak. The only personal information we hold is what's in the show office mailbox, and only the people who answer that mail can open it.

Demo frames from Pragmatic Play

Each pen loads a demo slot from Pragmatic Play's servers into a frame. Inside that frame, Pragmatic Play may set its own cookies or use its own browser storage, and may process technical data such as your IP address and device details. That happens under Pragmatic Play's own privacy policy, not ours, because the frame's content comes from Pragmatic Play and not from us.

The frames load only after you've confirmed your age on the gate pass.

No visitor counting, no ad trackers

We don't run analytics tools, advertising trackers or tracking pixels. We don't build profiles of visitors, and we don't share visitor data with advertisers.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us whether we hold personal information about you, ask for a copy of it, and ask us to correct it. Write to [email protected] and we'll respond as the Act requires.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, but you don't have to give us one.

Under-18s

Belmorhaven isn't for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from under-18s. If we learn that a message came from someone under 18, we delete it.

When this policy gets a reprint

If what we collect or how we handle it changes, we'll update this page and the date under its heading. Anything new we begin to collect will be announced on this page before it starts.
